What are the uses of Stenabolic?

What Is Stenabolic?

Commonly mistaken as a SARM, Stenabolic or SR9009 is a Rev-ErbA Agonist. Invented by Professor Thomas Burris from The Scripps Research Institute, USA.

How Does Stenabolic Work?

Rev-ErbA agonists operate in a different manner when compared to SARMs such as Ostarine.
Transcription factors are a group of proteins which controls gene expression. They do this by binding to DNA and turning specific genes “on” and “off”. Because of this, gene expression in the cell is affected. A nuclear receptor is a type of transcription factor which is ligand specific therefore are only activated by a particular molecule. Rev-ErbA is an example of a nuclear receptor which is found inside the cell.
SR9009 is a ligand with the capability of binding to Rev-ErbA. After binding, a number of reactions occur in the body. One of these reactions is an increase of mitochondria in the muscle cells.
