Description

What are the uses of Shilajit?

The benefits of Shilajit have been ever-present since the 6th Century BCE. Results from the numerous clinical trials have shown the following benefits.

  • Increased Testosterone – A significant increase in total testosterone, free testosterone & dehydroepiandrosterone post-supplementation (Pandit, et al., 2015)
  • Improved Fertility In Men  – A noteworthy improvement in sperm count in infertile men (Biswas, et al., 2010)
  • Enhanced Exercise Performance – Supplementation increased skeletal muscle adaptation in overweight subjects (Amitava, et al., 2016)

Due to its ability to naturally boost testosterone, Mumijo is ideal to supplement with products such as Ostarine or Ligandrol.

What Is Shilajit?

Sourced from the high-altitude mountains, this sticky tar-like substance has been a staple item in ancient Ayurvedic and Unani medicine for centuries. It also caught the eyes of the Soviet Union who conducted extensive research on its uses prior to the 1988 Moscow Olympic games. Containing at least 85 minerals, Mumijo is the perfect supplement for maintaining a healthy state.

How Does Shilajit Work?

Mumijo contains various minerals and nutrients, the key ones being humic and fulvic acid. These acids are carriers and can hold nutrients for transportation in the body. Their ability to supply a vast quantity of minerals is beneficial for DNA replication. They can also increase cell wall permeability to improve nutrient delivery into cell hence extremely advantageous in many cellular processes.

Mix a pea-sized portion into your favourite beverage. In Ayurvedic medicine, Shilajit is often combined with milk and honey. Due to its viscosity, mixing in warm beverages such as tea or coffee is easier. Take 2-3 times a day for the best results.
